I was inspired by Charles Stinson because I like how modern his designs are. Two studio Habits of Mind i have used to far is envision, i have my whole artwork planned out. It is not all on paper but most of it is. The second one I am using is Develop Craft, because I am learning how to use cardboard and popsicle sticks.

Two Studio Habits of Mind that I used for these materials were envision and develop craft. I used envision by planning out all the steps in my soft sculpture. I used develope craft by learning how to use plaster. My soft sculpture is a bat because I found a cute reference photo off the internet. My bowl is made out of plaster and tissue paper. I liked working with all of the materials from the media fair. My top three were the soft sculpture, paper mache, and cardboard/taskboard. I would like to do soft sculpture and paper mache again this semester. I will probably not use wire/kinetic art and found object again this semester.
Using develop craft and stretch and explore I have learned how to use different tools and materials such as, floral foam, bar of soap, and plaster. I have also learned how to embrace the opportunity to learn from my mistakes, by being more careful with the floral foam, since I broke the bar soap in half. I made a whale out of a bar of soap, by carving with tools, I also made a donut out of plaster but didn't have time to finish it. I made gary the snail from spongebob out of floral foam. The eye broke off but I glued it back on. I also made a flower pot out of cardboard and a styrofoam cup.
